FD40 is a GPRS IP DTU, it is an idle M2M solution which provides transparent data transfer across mobile network and Internet. FD40 is a GPRS IP DTU enables various kinds of legacy devices with serial port/Ethernet port to communicate over GPRS network and the Internet easily and freely. It is not only works as a GPRS Modem, but also can construct a smooth "GPRS Data Tunnel" between Host End and Remote End, and ensure an efficient communication for data transmission and remote device management. With RS-232/TTL/485 serial port, FG 39i GPRS DTU is an ideal solution for factory automation, environmental monitoring and remote device management for M2M industry. It provide software interface that streamline application development process, freeing system integrators from dealing with complex communication protocols of GPRS and the Internet. You can assign a fixed IP to FD40 DTU. The data received from the RS232 interface of the DTU will transfer the data to the fix IP’s server port number in transparent commission mode by the GPRS network to the internet network. Users do not need to change the existing system, it is saving cost and time for field maintenance, and making it a perfect solution for transparent mode data transmission.

 

We also provide telemetry software DTU Server which provides a flexible way for the users to established the connection with your terminal equipments in different network topology.

DTU Server can let you to connect up to 500 DTUs at the same time. You can use the DTU server to make central management of numbers of DTU and collect the data by the DTU server.
